The Old Greyhound Inn is a 400 year old coaching inn, situated to the south of Leicester, half way between Leicester and Market Harborough just off the main A6 in the village of Great Glen.
The Old Greyhound Inn is set in a beautiful Village over looking the green.
The Food and accomadation are excellent, as you would expect from a privately run establishment that prides itself on 5 star quality and service. Twycross Zoo opened in 1963 on a site in Leicestershire. Initially a comparatively modest collection, it has grown into one of the major British zoos, attracting over 450,000 visitors a year. It is famous for its collection of primates.
Situated near the small village of Twycross, the zoo occupies over 40 acres and is set in open countryside. Despite its rural location, it is only four miles from the M42/A42 (which links the M1 and M6) making it readily accessible from anywhere in central England.
We have 7 rooms which are all ensuite, this consists of 3 Twins and 4 Double.
